DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM NOVEMBER 18 TO 23, 1973, AS AMATEUR ATHLETIC WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association will host the First Asian Amateur Championship during the period from November 18 to 23, 1973; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to give incentive for the development and promotion of sports as a means to attain international peace and understanding;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from November 18 to 23, 1973, as Amateur Athletic Week under the auspices of the Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
