DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1973, FOR THE 1973 NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP AND EDUCATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE PHILIPPINE MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION, INC.

WHEREAS, good mental health is essential in enabling people to adjust to existing situations and to give their share in the common task of nation building;

WHEREAS, the Philippine Mental Health Association, Inc., during its two decades of existence has demonstrated the value and importance of its services in the promotion of good mental health and in the preventive, curative and rehabilitative aspects of mental illness; and

WHEREAS, it is a proven fact that the more members are enrolled in the movement the greater and wider the outreach of its educational campaign for good mental health is achieved;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate March 1 to December 31, 1973, as the period for the 1973 National Membership and Educational Fund Campaign of the Philippine Mental Health Association. I call upon all government officials, employees, citizens and residents to assist in this campaign and to give it their wholehearted support.1aшphi1
