[ Proclamation No. 1109, February 9, 1973 ]

AUTHORIZING THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND LIBRARY, INC. TO CONDUCT ITS EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM FEBRUARY 25 TO DECEMBER 31, 1973.

WHEREAS, the promotion of the well-being of our children and their development into good and useful citizens and enlightened leaders of our country is the vital concern of society and all efforts should be exerted in that direction;

WHEREAS, civic projects for the development of the latent capabilities of our youth and the provision of proper facilities for such development should be encouraged;

WHEREAS, the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc., is carrying out a program with objectives geared to these ends; and

WHEREAS, this movement wish to intensify the implementation of said objectives with greater success on the occasion of its Crystal Jubilee, its fifteenth anniversary year;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FLORES A. BAYOT, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc., to conduct an educational membership and fund campaign from February 25 to December 23, 1973. I enjoin all residents, business firms, civic, educational, religious and government institutions to support this humanitarian movement.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
