DECLARING THE PERIOD MARCH 1-7 AS OFFICE MACHINES WEEK.

WHEREAS, office machines are vital tools for nation-building, serving as the handmaiden of industry, embracing all fields from science to education, from accounting to journalism, from marketing to banking;

WHEREAS, office machines make a significant contribution to the growth of the Philippine economy, by enhancing the efficient operation of industrial firms, enabling them to achieve considerable increases in production output;

WHEREAS, the recent technological advances in office machines will be show-cased at a trade exhibit to be held by the Philippine Office Machines Distributors Association (POMDA) from March first to third.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FLORES A. BAYOT, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period March 1-7 as “Office Machines Week”.1aшphi1
