DECLARING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1972, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY.

WHEREAS, Tuesday, September 5, 1972, marks the anniversary of the charter of General Santos City; and

WHEREAS, the people of General Santos City desire to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, September 5, 1972, as a special public holiday in General Santos City.
