[ Proclamation No. 939, December 10, 1971 ]
RESERVING FOR FOREIGN TRADE ZONE PURPOSES a CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND OF THE PUBLIC DOMAIN, SITUATED IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF MARIVELES, PROVINCE OF BATAAN, ISLAND OF LUZON.
By virtue of the powers vested in me by law, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby withdraw from sale or settlement and reserve for foreign trade zone purposes, under the administration of the Foreign Trade Zone Authority subject to private rights, if any there be, and to future survey, a certain parcel of land of the public domain situated in the Municipality of Mariveles, Province of Bataan, Island of Luzon, which is more particularly described as follows:
“A parcel of land bounded on the North by lines 3-4-5-6-7; on the West by lines 10-1-2-3 coinciding with the boundary of the original Foreign Trade Zone Area Proclamation No. 620, series of 1969 and the Foreign Trade Zone Housing Area, Proclamation No. 740, series of 1970; on the South by line 9-10 coinciding with the northern boundary of the FTZ Quarry Site, Proclamation No. 899, series of 1971; and on the East by lines 7-8-9.
“Beginning at point 1, which is 1,259 feet west of a U.S. stone monument marked “Station C” and which also coincides with corner C of the original FTZ Area, Proclamation No. 629, series of 1969;
Thence to point 2, due West, 1,880.00 meters;
thence to point 3, due North, 360.20 meters;
thence to point 4, due East, 2,546.20 meters;
thence to point 5, N. 30° 00’E., 320.00 meters;
thence to point 6, N. 32° 00’E., 350.00 meters;
thence to point 7, N. 89° 00’E., 430.00 meters;
thence to point 8, S. 5° 00’E., 79.70 meters;
thence to point 9, S. 31° 02’E., 1,496.35 meters;
thence to point 10, due East, 2,270.00 meters;
To point 1, point of beginning. Containing an area of 267.69 hectares, more or less.
Nothing in this proclamation shall be construed as amending or modifying the provisions of Proclamation No. 629 dated November 29, 1969.1aшphi1
