DECLARING THE SECOND WEEK OF DECEMBER OF EVERY YEAR AS ARCHITECTURE WEEK.

WHEREAS, architects contribute to the systematic and well-planned development of urban centers, parks, cultural and art centers, as well as to modern trends in construction; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to draw attention to their invaluable contribution towards planned urban growth, environmental planning and for over-all social progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the second week of December of every year as “Architecture Week” under the auspices of the Convention of Filipino Architects and other entities involved.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
