[ Proclamation No. 933, November 18, 1971 ]
DECLARING FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCES OF LANAO DEL SUR AND SULU AND IN THE CITIES OF BASILAN, MARAWI AND ILIGAN.
In connection with the Muslim Feast of Ed-It-Fitr, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Friday, November 19, 1971, as a special public holiday in the provinces of Lanao del Sur and Sulu, and in the cities of Basilan, Marawi and Iligan.
Muslim officials and employees of the government both national and local performing their duties and functions outside of the provinces and cities above mentioned, shall be exempted from duty during this feast day which, for purposes of this proclamation as a special public holiday for said officials and employees in their respective stations.
