DECLARING SATURDAY AND TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6 AND 9, 1971, RESPECTIVELY, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY.

Pursuant to Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Saturday and Tuesday, November 6 and 9, 1971, respectively, as special public holidays to give personnel of government and private firms the opportunity to return to their respective provinces and exercise their sovereign right of suffrage.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
