DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 18 TO 24, 1971, AS MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING WEEK.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Association of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers holds its 41st Annual Convention on October 18-24, 1971; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to underscore the important role the mechanical and electrical engineering professions play in our country’s economic development;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from October 18 to 24, 1971, as Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Week under the auspices of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Associations.
