[ Proclamation No. 909, September 24, 1971 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PRESS PHOTOGRAPHERS OF THE PHILIPPINES, (PPP), TO CONDUCT a FUND CAMPAIGN DURING THE PERIOD FROM OCTOBER 1, 1971 TO JUNE 30, 1972.

WHEREAS, the Press Photographers of the Philippines has contributed in a large measure to the progress of mass media in this country;

WHEREAS, press photographers render invaluable services to the Filipino people and the country as a whole through their documentation of news and events;

WHEREAS, the Press Photographers of the Philippines needs financial assistance to pursue its objectives of upgrading the photo-journalism profession;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Press Photographers of the Philippines to conduct a national fund campaign during the period from October 1, 1971 to June 30, 1972.
