[ Proclamation No. 908, September 17, 1971 ]

EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF THE ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHESTS AND COUNCILS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO NOVEMBER 30, 1971.

WHEREAS, the Community Chests and Councils of the Philippines were authorized under Proclamation No. 838 dated April 14, 1971, to conduct fund campaigns from June 1 to September 30, 1971, to support the services of their respective welfare agencies; and

WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to extend the campaign in view of the election ban this year;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the period of the Annual Educational and Fund Campaign of the Community Chests and Councils of the Philippines to November 30, 1971.
