DECLARING MONDAY, AUGUST 30, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MANDAUE CITY.
WHEREAS, Monday, August 30, 1971, marks the anniversary of the formal organization of Mandaue City; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the inhabitants of this City should be afforded the opportunity to fully celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, August 30, 1971, as a special public holiday in Mandaue City.
