DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 20 TO AUGUST 1, 1971, AS “NATIONAL ADVERTISING WEEK.”

WHEREAS, advertising plays a vital role in the nation’s economy by maximizing consumers’ benefits through ethical practices; and

WHEREAS, consumers should be made to realize the benefits they derive through responsible advertising;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ROBERTO V. REYES, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from July 26 to August 1, 1971, as “National Advertising Week” under the auspices of the Philippine Association of National Advertisers and other advertising associations.
