[ Proclamation No. 845, April 30, 1971 ]

AUTHORIZING THE PHILIPPINE AMATEUR ATHLETIC FEDERATION TO CONDUCT ITS NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM THE PERIOD FROM MAY 1 TO DECEMBER 31, 1971.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation (PAAF) seeks to encourage physical education, promote athletic sports among amateurs and develop athletes for international competition; and

WHEREAS, the above projects cannot be attained without the support of our citizens, so that our youth of today may grow into healthy and physically fit leaders;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from May 1 to December 31, 1971, as the educational and fund campaign period of the Philippine Amateur Athletic Federation.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
