DECLARING TUESDAY, MARCH 16, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY.
WHEREAS, Tuesday, March 16, 1971, marks the 34th anniversary of the Charter of Davao City; and
WHEREAS, the people of that City should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Tuesday, March 16, 1971, as a special public holiday in Davao City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
