DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM MARCH 1 TO 7, 1971, AS “NATIONAL PRESS WEEK” FOR 1971.

WHEREAS, National Press Week is celebrated during the second week of February of every year pursuant to Proclamation No. 191 dated January 9, 1964; and

WHEREAS, the Press has requested the transfer of the celebration of the Week this year to the period from March 1 to 7, 1971;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from March 1 to 7, 1971, as “National Press Week”.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
