AUTHORIZING THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND LIBRARY, INC. TO CONDUCT ITS EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM MARCH 1 TO SEPTEMBER 30, 1971.

WHEREAS, it is a vital concern of society to promote the well-being of our children and their development into good and useful citizens and enlightened leaders of our country;

WHEREAS, civic projects designed to develop the latent capabilities of our youth and to provide proper facilities for such development should be encouraged and maintained; and

WHEREAS, the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. carries out a program with objectives geared to these ends;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby authorize the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc. to conduct an educational, membership and fund campaign from March 1 to September 30, 1971. I enjoin all government officials and employees, private entities and other nationals to support this humanitarian movement.
