DECLARING WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 24, 1971, AS a SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CEBU CITY.
WHEREAS, Wednesday, February 24, 1971, marks the charter anniversary of the City of Cebu; and
WHEREAS, the residents of Cebu City should be given opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, February 24, 1971, as a special public holiday in Cebu City.
