DECLARING THURSDAY, JANUARY 28, 1971, AS DON JULIAN FELIPE DAY IN CAVITE CITY.

WHEREAS, the 110th birthday anniversary of Don Julian Felipe, composer of our national anthem, falls on Thursday, January 28, 1971; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to recall the event in fitting tribute to the renowned composer;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, in recognition of Don Julian Felipe’s noble and patriotic services to the country, do hereby declare Thursday, January 28, 1971, as Don Julian Felipe Day in the City of Cavite.
