DECLARING THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR AND PAGADIAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Thursday, September 17, 1970, marks the 18th anniversary of the organization of the province of Zamboanga del Sur; and

WHEREAS, the people of that province should be given opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their province’s history with fitting ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Thursday, September 17, 1970, as a special public holiday in the province of Zamboanga del Sur and Pagadian City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
