DECLARING OCTOBER 12, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN QUEZON CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, October 12, 1970, marks the anniversary of the foundation day of Quezon City; and

WHEREAS, the residents of Quezon City should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, October 12, 1970, as a special public holiday in Quezon City.
