[ Proclamation No. 737, August 14, 1970 ]

EXTENDING THE PERIOD OF THE 1970 NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE BOY SCOUTS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO DECEMBER 31, 1970.

WHEREAS, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines was authorized under Proclamation No. 677, dated April 2, 1970, to conduct a fund campaign from July 1 to August 15, 1970, to attain its avowed aims and purpose; and

WHEREAS, it has been found necessary to extend the campaign period in order to insure that all elements of our communities may be afforded the opportunity to contribute to, and give tangible expression of their support for, the Scouting Movement;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the period of the 1970 national fund campaign of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines to December 31, 1970.
