DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM DECEMBER 7 TO 13, 1970, AS “PHILIPPINE JAYCEE WEEK”.

WHEREAS, the PHILIPPINE JAYCEE is a voluntary organization of young men working together on organized civic projects and in creating a sound business milieu conducive to civic improvement, social amelioration and economic progress;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, in recognition of the role of the JAYCEES in nation-building, do hereby declare the period from December 7 to 13, 1970, as Philippine Jaycee Week. I call on all citizens to lend their interest, support and cooperation in making the observance of the Week a success.
