In commemoration of the birthday of the late Governor Roque B. Ablan of Ilocos Norte, one of the outstanding resistance leaders during the last war, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Sunday, August 9, 1970, as Roque B. Ablan Day in the province of Ilocos Norte and in the City of Laoag.
