[ Proclamation No. 720, July 9, 1970 ]

EXTENDING UP TO AUGUST 31, 1970, THE PERIOD WITHIN WHICH THE PHILIPPINE CANCER SOCIETY, INC., MAY CONDUCT A NATIONAL EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN.

WHEREAS, Proclamation No. 631 dated December 4, 1969, authorized the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc, to conduct a national educational, membership and fund campaign from January 1 to June 30, 1970; and

WHEREAS, the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc. needs more time to realize its fund campaign goal of P400,000.00 to help carry out its free cancer detection program;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby extend the period of the national educational, membership and fund campaign of the Philippine Cancer Society, Inc. up to August 31, 1970.
