DECLARING WEDNESDAY, JULY 1, 1970, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF SOUTHERN LEYTE.
WHEREAS, Wednesday, July 1, 1970, marks the tenth anniversary of the creation of the province of Southern Leyte; and
WHEREAS, the people of this province desire to be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in the history of their province;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, PONCIANO G. A. MATHAY, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Wednesday, July 1, 1970, as a special public holiday in the province of Southern Leyte.
