[ Proclamation No. 707, June 20, 1970 ]

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 695 ENTITLED “CALLING THE CONGRESS OF THE PHILIPPINES TO A SPECIAL SESSION”.

WHEREAS, the public interest requires that the Congress of the Philippines, now convened in a special session, consider other vital legislative measures;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by the Constitution, do hereby include in the agenda of the current special session of Congress, in addition to those embodied in Proclamation No. 695, the following measures:

S. No. 77—An Act to amend certain sections of Republic Act Numbered Four thousand nine hundred fourteen, entitled “An Act providing for the election of delegates to, and the holding of, the constitutional convention authorized by Resolution of Both Houses of the Congress of the Philippines, adopted on March sixteen, nineteen hundred sixty seven”; and

H. No. 1347—An Act amending certain sections of Republic Act Numbered Four thousand nine hundred fourteen, entitled, “An Act providing for the election of delegates to, and the holding of, the constitutional convention authorized by Resolution of Both Houses of the Congress of the Philippines, adopted on March sixteen, nineteen hundred sixty seven.”

All persons entitled to sit as members of the Congress of the Philippines are requested to take notice of this proclamation.1aшphi1
