DECLARING JUNE 22 TO 28, 1970, AS MANAGEMENT CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK

WHEREAS, it is the policy of the government to promote management consciousness both in the public and private sectors to help achieve the developmental goals of the nation;

WHEREAS, the Philippines is hosting a Management Congress from June 24 to 27, 1970, to be attended by top management practitioners and academicians from eleven Asian-Pacific countries, including the Philippines; and

WHEREAS, management consciousness is essential at this stage to promote better business practices, to increase production and to improve public administration and services, vital prerequisites to economic development, social progress and stability;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from June 22 to 28, 1970 as Management Consciousness Week.1aшphi1
