[ Proclamation No. 698, June 9, 1970 ]

REDUCING THE AREA RESERVED FOR FISHERIES DEVELOPMENT CENTER UNDER PROCLAMATION NO. 78, DATED FEBRUARY 9, 1963.

Upon the recommendation of the Secretary of Agriculture and Natural Resources and pursuant to the provisions of Section 73 of Act No. 4003, I FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby reserve for Fisheries Development Center, for the implementation of the provisions of Section 4(h) of Republic Act No. 3512, and for such purposes as would be conducive to the development of the Fishing industry, under the administration of the Fisheries Commission, subject to private rights, if any there be, a certain portion, of Manila Bay, situated in the Municipality of Navotas, Province of Rizal, and more particularly described as follows:

“A portion of Manila Bay, situated in the Municipality of Navotas, Province of Rizal. Bounded on the S., along line 1-2 by Manila Bay; on the SW., along line 2-3 by Manila Bay; on the NW., along line 3-4 by Manila Bay; and on the NE., along line 4-1 by the shore of Manila Bay. Beginning at a point marked “1” on plan being S. 89 deg. 35' W., 728.20 m. from C.B.M. 48, and at a point marked “4” being N. 48 deg. 53' W., 1996, 54 m. from B.L.L.M. No. 1, (Navotas, Rizal) From the first tie point marked “1”,

thence S. 89 deg. 35’W.,	2,600.00 m. to point 2;
thence N. 34 deg. 48’W.,	1,296.55 m. to point 3;
thence N. 55 deg. 12’E.,	2,150.00 m. to point 4;
thence S. 34 deg. 43 E.,	2,764.72 m. to point of

beginning; containing an area of FOUR MILLION THREE HUNDRED SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED SIXTY-FIVE (4,365,865) Square meters.”

This Proclamation revokes Proclamation No. 78, dated February 9, 1963, and such other Proclamations as are inconsistent herewith.1aшphi1
