DECLARING MAY 25 TO 30, 1970, AS MARKETING WEEK

WHEREAS, it is one of the avowed policies of the government to promote our economy through expanded foreign trade;

WHEREAS, the Philippines is hosting the Fourth Asian-Pacific Regional Marketing Conference on May 25 to 30, 1970, to be attended by top marketing and management executives from all over the world; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the importance of marketing in business and industry.

NOW, THEREFORE, I ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from May 25 to 30, 1970, as Marketing Week.
