DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 6 TO 11, 1970, AS “CHEMICAL WEEK”

WHEREAS, Chemists play a vital role in production and preservation of food and other basic materials for our needs; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to arouse production consciousness and stimulate interest in chemical and allied industries among our people;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Acting Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from April 6 to 11, 1970, as “Chemical Week” under the auspices of the organization and entities involved.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
