DECLARING MARCH 16, 1970, AS “ARAW NG DABAW” AND A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN DAVAO CITY.

WHEREAS, Monday, March 16, 1970, marks the 33rd anniversary of the charter of the City of Davao; and

WHEREAS, the people of that city should be given full opportunity to celebrate this milestone in their city’s history;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Monday, March 16, 1970, as “Araw ng Dabaw” and a special public holiday in Davao City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
