[ Proclamation No. 658, February 28, 1970 ]

AMENDING PROCLAMATION NO. 610 DATED JANUARY 19, 1960, BY TRANSFERRING LIVESTOCK AND POULTRY WEEK TO THE SECOND WEEK OF APRIL OF EVERY YEAR.

WHEREAS, the third week of February of every year has been designated as Livestock and Poultry Production Week under Proclamation No. 640 dated January 19, 1960; and

WHEREAS, unfavorable weather conditions during the preparatory stages as necessitate the transfer of the celebration to the 2nd week of April;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ALEJANDRO MELCHOR, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the second week of April of every year, instead of the third week of February as Livestock and Poultry Production Week.
