DECLARING FEBRUARY 16 OF EVERY YEAR AS CALOOCAN DAY

WHEREAS, February 16, 1970 marks the anniversary of the foundation of the City of Caloocan; and

WHEREAS, there is a need to focus public attention on the accomplishments and progress of the City so as to stimulate the interest, cooperation and participation of the residents therein;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, ERNESTO M. MACEDA, Executive Secretary, by order of His Excellency, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare February 16 of every year as “Caloocan Day.”
