DECLARING DECEMBER 29 AND 31, 1969, AS SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAYS

WHEREAS, the twenty-eighth and thirtieth of December, 1969, and the first of January, 1970, being holidays, the twenty-ninth and the thirty-first of December, 1969, may be declared special public holidays to enable the people to enjoy an uninterrupted five-day holiday without prejudice to the public interest;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in’ me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare December 29, and 31, 1969, as special public holidays.
