DECLARING OCTOBER 4, 1969 AS SHOE INDUSTRY DAY.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Shoe Industry is one of the country’s major cottage industries; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting to give due recognition to the contribution of the shoe industry to economic development;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippine, do hereby declare October 4, 1969, as Shoe Industry Day under the auspices of the First Philippine Shoe Festival.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
