DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM SEPTEMBER 15 TO 21, 1969, AS “SAVINGS AND HOME LOAN WEEK.”

WHEREAS, savings and loan associations play an important role in channeling savings and financing the construction of homes, particularly among the low income group; and

WHEREAS, it is desirable to focus attention on the contribution of savings and loan associations to economic development;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS. President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from September 15 to 21, 1969, as “SAVINGS AND LOAN WEEK” under the auspices of the Philippine League of Savings and Loan Associations, Inc.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
