DECLARING FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 1969, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN GENERAL SANTOS CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, September 5, 1969, marks the first anniversary of the formal organization of General Santos City; and

WHEREAS, the people of that city should be given full opportunity to celebrate the event with appropriate ceremonies;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Friday, September 5, 1969, as a special public holiday in General Santos City.1aшphi1
