MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 595, August 9, 1969 ] DESIGNATING AUGUST 10, 1969, AS THE DATE FOR THE FORMAL ORGANIZATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF SAN JOSE. WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 6051, approved on August 4, 1969, created the City of San Jose in Nueva Ecija; and WHEREAS, Section 93 of said Act provides that the government of the City of San Jose shall be organized on such date as may be fixed by the President of the Philippines: NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, Pursuant to Section 93 of Republic Act No. 6051, do hereby proclaim that the formal organization of the government of the City of San Jose shall take place on August 10, 1969.
