MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 587, August 6, 1969 ] DECLARING SATURDAY, AUGUST 9, 1969, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF IBAJAY, AKLAN. By virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare Saturday, August 9, 1969, as special public holiday in the Municipality of Ibajay, Aklan, being the birth anniversary of the late Col. Alejandro Melchor Sr., and to enable the residents’ of that municipality to fittingly observe the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.
