[ Proclamation No. 581, July 16, 1969 ]

DESIGNATING JULY 23, .1969, AS THE DATE FOR THE FORMAL ORGANIZATION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF BATANGAS CITY.

WHEREAS, Republic Act No. 5495, approved on June 21, 1969, created Batangas City; and

WHEREAS, Section 93 of said Act provides that the government of Batangas City shall be organized on such a date as may be fixed by the President of the Philippines;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, pursuant to the provision of Section 93 of Republic Act No. 5495, do hereby proclaim that the formal organization of the government of Batangas City shall take place on July 23, 1969.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
