DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JULY 1 TO AUGUST 15, 1969 FOR THE FIRST ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST OF CEBU, INC.

To enable the Community Chest of Cebu. Inc. to carry out its community welfare services, I, FERDINAN E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from July 1 to August 15, 1969, for its first annual educational and fund campaign.

I call upon all residents, firms and organizations especially in the City of Cebu, Lapulapu City, Toledo City, Danao City and the municipalities of Cebu, to support this campaign and to give generously to the Community Chest of Cebu, Inc. which unites into one annual appeal the 18 fund campaigns of the following welfare agencies:

Asilo de la Medalla Milagrosa

Cebu Boys’ Center, Inc.

Cebu Girls’ Center

Cebu Society for Crippled Children

Children’s Community Kitchen

Elks Celebral Palsy Clinic

Franciscan Missionaries of Mary

Family Life Workshop of the Philippines

Friends of the Lepers (Cebu) Association

Good Shepherd Convent

Philippine Educating Service for the Blind

Philippine Mental Health Association

St. Martin de Porres School for Retarded Children

St. Theresa’s Social and Medical Center

Young Christian Workers (Girls) of Cebu

Young Men’s Christian Association

Young Women’s Christian Association

Young Ladies Association of Charity

I urge all residents to give the drive full support and cooperation.
