DECLARING THURSDAY, JUNE 19, 1969, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN CALAMBA, LAGUNA.

WHEREAS, Thursday, June 19, 1969, marks the one hundred ninth birthday of Jose P. Rizal, our national hero; and

WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the residents of Calamba, Laguna, his birthplace, be given full opportunity to celebrate the day with appropriate ceremonies in keeping with his ideals and teachings;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, PRESIDENT of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested upon me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Thursday, June 19, 1969, as a special public holiday in Calamba, Laguna.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
