[ Proclamation No. 566, June 9, 1969 ]

EXTENDING THE PERIOD FOR THE GENERAL EMILIO AGUINALDO CENTENNIAL COMMISSION TO CONDUCT A NATIONAL FUND CAMPAIGN.

WHEREAS, the Aguinaldo Centennial Commission was created under Executive Order No. 92 dated October 23, 1967, to take charge of the celebration of the centennial of General Emilio Aguinaldo and to build a fitting monument to perpetuate the memory of the President of the First Philippine Republic;

WHEREAS, the Commission was authorized under Executive Order No. 410 dated June 11 1963, to conduct a national fund campaign for the above purpose from June 12, 1968 to June 12, 1969; and

WHEREAS, the Commission is still way off in reaching its campaign goal of One Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Pesos (P1,250,000);

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Aguinaldo. Centennial Commission to conduct its campaign up to December 31, 1969.1aшphi1
