DECLARING FRIDAY, MAY 30, 1969, AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND TAGBILARAN CITY.

WHEREAS, Friday, May 30, 1969, marks the height of the revolt of Dagohoy against Spanish tyranny in Bohol; and

WHEREAS, the people of Bohol should be afforded an opportunity to celebrate the occasion with fitting ceremonies and to render tribute to Dagohoy’s exemplary love of country;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the authority vested in me by Section 30 of the Revised Administrative Code, do hereby declare Friday, May 30, 1969, as a special public holiday in the Province of Bohol and Tagbilaran City.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
