MALACAÑAN PALACE MANILA BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES [ Proclamation No. 559, May 19, 1969 ] DESIGNATING THE PERIOD FROM JUNE 1 TO AUGUST 15, 1969, FOR THE TWENTIETH ANNUAL EDUCATIONAL AND FUND CAMPAIGN OF THE COMMUNITY CHEST. To enable the Community Chest to carry on its community welfare services, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby designate the period from June 1 to August 15, 1969, for its twenty-first annual educational and fund campaign. I call upon all residents, firms and organizations especially in the City of Manila, Quezon City, Pasay City, Caloocan City and municipalities of Makati, Malabon, Mandaluong, Marikina, Navotas, Las Piñas, Paranaque, Pasig and San Juan, Province of Rizal to support this campaign and to give generously to the Community Chest which unites into one annual appeal the 35 fund campaigns of the following welfare agencies: Abiertas House of Friendship American Philippine Guardian Asociaeion de Damas de Filipinas Settlement House Asilo de San Vicente de Paul Catholic Youth Organization Citizens’ council for mass media.
