[ Proclamation No. 538, March 24, 1969 ]

AUTHORIZING THE CHILDREN’S MUSEUM AND LIBRARY, INC., TO CONDUCT ITS EDUCATIONAL, MEMBERSHIP AND FUND CAMPAIGN FROM APRIL 1 TO JULY 31, 1969.

WHEREAS, the promotion of the well-being of our children and their development into good and useful citizens and enlightened leaders and our country is the vital concern of society and all efforts should be exerted in that direction;

WHEREAS, civic projects for the development of the latent capabilities of our youth and the provision of proper facilities for such development should be encouraged and

WHEREAS, the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc., has its objectives geared to these ends;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby authorize the Children’s Museum and Library, Inc., to conduct an educational, membership and fund campaign from April 1 to July 31, 1969. I enjoin all government officials and employees, private entities, citizens and other nationals to support this humanitarian movement.1aшphi1

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
