DECLARING THE PERIOD FROM APRIL 1 TO 7, 1969, AS “TAX CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK.”

WHEREAS, it is the civic obligation and patriotic duty of every citizens to pay his just taxes promptly, and

WHEREAS, there is need of installing among our citizenry greater consciousness of their obligation and undersecretary the taxpayer’s role in economic progress and nation-building;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, do hereby declare the period from April 1 to 7, 1969, as “TAX CONSCIOUSNESS WEEK” under the auspices of the Department of Finance.
