DECLARING WEDNESDAY, MAY 7, 1969 AS A SPECIAL PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN MORONG, RIZAL.
WHEREAS, Wednesday, May 7, 1969 marks the anniversary of the birth Tomas Claudio, the first Filipino soldier to die for democracy in World War I; and
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper to give the people of Morong, Rizal, his birthplace, full opportunity to celebrate his birthday with appropriate ceremonies;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, FERDINAND E. MARCOS, President of the Philippines, by virtue of the powers vested in me by law, do hereby declare Wednesday, May 7, 1969, as special public holiday in Morong, Rizal.1aшphi1
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the seal of the Republic of the Philippines to be affixed.
